ADA H. (TUCKER) RILEY, of Hingham, died on Sunday, May 1st at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home in Norwell. She was 94. She was born in East Braintree and lived most of her life in Hingham and Weymouth. She was a hairdresser and beautician and for 16 years owned and operated Ada's Beauty Shop of North Weymouth, retiring at age 71.
Mrs. Riley also loved to knit and crotchet afghans for family and friends.
Wife of the late Winthrop A. Riley, Sr., she was the mother of Muriel H. Bailey of Hollywood, FL, Barbara E. Nardo of Hingham, Winthrop A. Riley, Jr. of Weymouth, the late William C. Johnson and the late Walter Johnson. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The funeral services and interment are to be private. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
