OXFORD – Dorothy M. Sullivan, 83, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Sandalwood Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
She leaves a brother, Daniel Sullivan of Phoenix, AZ; 2 nephews, Kevin and Walter; 2 nieces, Kym and Georgette; her guardian, Jeanne T. Guerin of Dudley; a close friend, Dolores Champoux of Webster; and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Sullivan and his wife Georgette, by her sister Beverly Boucher, by a niece Rosemarie and by her best friend Connie Berard.
She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Daniel and Irene M. (Cutting) Sullivan and lived there before moving to Sandalwood in 2005. She graduated from South High School in Worcester in 1949.
Miss Sullivan was a clerk at the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster and a former member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Worcester.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster.
