Maureen F. Corey, 72, formerly of Austin Avenue in Greenville died Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence surrounded by her family.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Rita (Quinn) McAllister. She had lived in Greenville previously living in Glocester. She had worked with DCYF for the State of RI. She had also worked for Narragansett Electric.
She leaves her children, Michael Corey and his wife Christine of Plainfield, CT, Jill Fague and her husband Matthew of Smithfield and Erin Earley and her husband Jared of Bristol, grandchildren, Nathan, Meagan, Sean, Riley, Conner and Joey, her sisters, Elizabeth Conway of West Greenwich and Helen McPeak of FL. She was the sister of the late Rita McAllister.
Her Funeral will be held Wednesday July 22, 2015 at 8:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial at9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Tuesday July 21, 2015 from 4-7pm.
