ROCKY HILL, CT___Frances V. (Bulonas) Sarapas, 84, of The Atrium, 1160 Elm St., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday April 26 at The Atrium. Her husband, Leonard C. Sarapas died in 1969.
She leaves four children, Valerie Nixon of Crofton, MD; Barbara Sarapas – Hilber of St. Paul MN; Leonard Sarapas of Hampstead, NH; and Marina Stucky of Glastonbury, CT; three sisters, Lennie Cross of Hyannisport, MA; and Millie Bulonas and Petronella Bulonas both of Worcester, MA; two grandsons, Nathan and Joel and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Bulonas. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Stanley and Valerie (Chastney) Bulonas and later lived 45 years in Longmeadow, MA; and 2 years in Glastonbury. She has resided in Rocky Hill for 2 years.
Mrs. Sarapas was a former member of St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow and St. Casimir Church in Worcester. She graduated from Worcester Girl’s Technical High School.
The funeral will be held on Monday May 2 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday May 1 from 2 to 5 p.m.
