Beloved wife, mother and sister
TEWKSBURY: Kimberly A. (Barrelle) Sheehan, age 55, a lifelong Tewksbury resident, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of Mark L. Sheehan, with whom she celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2015.
Born in Winchester on March 10, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Richard A. Barrelle and the late June L. (Figucia)(Barelle) Maguire.
“Kim” attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1978.
Following high school, she worked for the Wang Corporation and later as a daycare provider for area families. Prior to her illness, Kim was employed as a Food Service Manager at the Ryan Middle School in Tewksbury, where she worked for the past 15 years.
She enjoyed days at the beach, attending pool parties and her annual trips to North Conway with friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Sarah M. Sheehan and Ryan C. Sheehan both of Tewksbury; one sister, Lisa M. Scibilia of Tewksbury; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
Calling hours are Friday, July 17, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 18, at 10 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Graveside Service at 11 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim’s memory may be made to Cancer Center at the Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
