Obituary

Thomas J. Mulvey, 94, of Glocester died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 12, 2015 in the Hulitar Hospice Intake Center in Providence. He was the devoted husband of the late Claire (Manning) Mulvey.

Born in Providence, Thomas was a son of the late Thomas J. Mulvey Sr and Anna (Finnergan) Mulvey. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was employed by the New Haven and Hartford Railroad Company and was the former owner of Harmony Home Improvement Company, and was a member of the RI Builders Association.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas Mulvey of Pascoag and James Mulvey of Foster, and his three grandchildren, Thomas Mulvey IV, Emily Mulvey and Lauren Mulvey. He was brother to the late William, Rita and Robert Mulvey, and father to the late Susan Mulvey.

A memorial mass will be held in in honor of him and his daughter Susan, who passed on May 5, 2015 at 11:00 am on Wednesday July 22, 2015 in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. A committal service with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will follow. Vistation respectfully omitted.
