Beverly Vivian "Jones" McCormick, 98, long time Ventura County resident passed away peacefully July 12, 2015 in Ojai.
Born in Globe, Arizona, June 20, 1917, she moved to the Stockton area where she met her high school sweetheart and husband Myron W. "Mike" McCormick. The couple moved to Ventura in the late 1940's and lived her for 70 years. She was employed as a cafeteria supervisor for the Ventura school system. She was an avid golfer who also enjoyed painting, pottery, and travel.
She is preceded in death by her husband Myron W. "Mike" McCormick in 1976, a son Mike in 2000, her sister Doris Mae in 2014, and her brother John.
She is survived by her son Patrick (Carol) McCormick; daughter Shelly (Larry) Madoski; sister Shirley (Bob) Christianson of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren Tara, Mia, Tyler (Jamie), Meg (Cam), Chandra, Mike, Kristin, Kelly, and Jimmy; great grandchildren Cameron, Caleb, Christian, Caysee, Carlee, Cali, Cira "Vivie," Maeve, Molly, and Jordan; as well as several nieces, nephews, many friends and acquaintances.
Arrangements are been entrusted to the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.

In accordance with Beverly's wish there will be no services. She will be lad to rest next to her husband at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
