Florence R. Rutledge, 82, formerly of Manchester, died Friday, April 22, 2005 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on July 19, 1922 she was the daughter of Nils and Ragna (Raamundsen) Johnsen.
Mrs. Rutledge worked as a bookkeeper for Standard Oil.
She was an avid WWII swing-dancer.
Mrs. Rutledge was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family.
Family members include her husband of 58 years Arthur E. Rutledge of Manchester; a son, Arthur N. Rutledge of Suffolk, VA; a daughter, Nancy A. Morris of Goffstown, NH; 2 brothers, Robert Johnsen of New Jersey and Richard Johnsen of Brooklyn, NY; 2 sisters, Helen Olsen of Brooklyn, NY and Hazel Johnsen of Brooklyn, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held Tuesday April 26, 2005 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
