Lillian Geraci Rancatore, 88 of Medford, died Thursday in the Woodbriar Nursing Home of Wilmington. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Anna (Demma) Geraci. Mrs. Geraci Rancatore died following a lengthy illness. She was a life long resident of Medford and was a graduate of the Girls High School in Boston. Following high school she went on to further her education recieving a BA degree in Business from Boston University and a Masters degree in retail from New York University. She worked as a teacher at Medford High School from 1941 to 1975. She taught business education and marketing. She was very devoted to her students and often traveled to Europe on field trips with many of her students. She also worked part time for Travel Unlimited and Coach Four Travel Agencies. She belonged to many local organizations and loved to travel around the world.
Lillian is the beloved wife of the late Michael Rancatore. The devoted sister of Lee Pothier of New Hampshire, Anne Giovino of Mansfield, the late Mary Geraci and Catherine Coppola. She is also survived by seven loving nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Tuesday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
