WORCESTER-Suzanne M. (Rice) Bouley, 64, of 102 Henshaw Street died Wednesday, April 20th in Wachusett Extended Care Facility after a long illness. Her husband, James W. Bouley died in 1992. She leaves a son, John W. Bouley of Worcester, 2 daughters, Dianne M. Degon of Worcester and Donna M. Monfreda of Leicester, a brother, Edmond Rice of Quincy, 2 sisters, Nancy Rice of VT and Sheila Grant of Raynham, 6 grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Meaghan and Emilie Monfreda, Dori and Ryan Degon, many nephews and nieces. A brother, Francis Rice and a sister, Marjorie Cote Rice predeceased her.
She was born in Randolph the daughter of Carlton R. and Ada (Strickland) Rice. She resided at the Canton Memorial Hospital School for treatment of Polio and then graduated in 1961 from St. Patrick’s High School in Brockton. Mrs. Bouley worked as a receptionist for several years for Bouley Brothers Incorporated, prior to that she had been a full time employee Massachusetts Department of Revenue. She was a long time volunteer with the Special Olympics.
The funeral is Saturday, April 23rd from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 8:30 until 10:30 in the funeral home the morning of the funeral.
