Antonio S. Branco, age 81 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2015 with his family by his side. Born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, he was the husband of the late Julieta (Travassos) Branco and the son of the late Agostinho and Beatriz (DaSilva) Branco. Prior to retiring, Antonio worked as a Master Bricklayer / Landscaper, enjoyed gardening and was a Benfica Soccer Fan. He was also a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church.
He is survived by his children: Candida Couto (husband Carl) of Fall River, Nazaria Brouillard (husband Paul) of Somerset, and Antonio “Tony” M. Branco of New Bedford; siblings: Beatriz Grilo of Ontario, Canada, Maria Lubelia Andrade of Central Falls, RI, Jose Branco of Montreal, Canada, and Adelino Branco of Bristol, RI; grandchildren: Benjamin & Ashley Brouillard; several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
