John K. Loder, 52, of Sheldon Rd., East Derry, died November 9, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a sudden illness.
He was born in Buffalo, NY on February 2, 1949 a son of the late John K. and Kathaleen (Lahey) Loder Sr.
He was a resident of East Derry for the past 26 years, formerly living in Woburn, Mass.
He was a graduate of Woburn High School in Woburn, Mass. Mr. Loder was a US Marine Corp. veteran serving during the Vietnam era.
He was a self employed real estate appraiser.
Mr. Loder enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and enjoyed traveling and the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Betty H. Loder of East Derry, two sons, John D. Loder of Manchester, Jason Loder of Derry, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Kerry) Farland of Derry, Mrs. David (Kristie) Ralph of Plymouth, Mass., four grandchildren, one brother, Kim E. Loder of Billerica, Mass., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 13, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 8:30 with a service following at 8:30, in the Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch St., Derry. Cremation will follow in the Southern NH Crematory in Derry.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 11:00 at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Derry News Santa Fund, PO Box 307, Derry, NH 03038.
