Adeline L. Sadow passed away peacefully at the age of 93 at the Westerly Health Center in Rhode Island. The daughter of the late Michael and Ella (Viglione) Romano, she was born in Boston’s North End and was raised in Medford. As a young woman she and her husband lived in California where she worked as a model. Once she and Alexander returned to Medford, Addie worked as a saleswoman at the former Ronnie’s in Medford Sq. She later worked as a clerk with the Registry of Motor Vehicles, until her retirement. Devoted to her family and friends, Addie lived in Somerville for many years before joining her daughter in Rhode Island.
The beloved wife of the late Alexander Sadow, who passed away in 1963, she leaves her daughter Debra Antoncecchi and her husband Leo of Westerly, RI. Addie also leaves her grandson Alex Antoncecchi of Miami, FL as well as a nephew Gregory Romano. Adeline is predeceased by her brother Anthony Romano.
Family and friends may visit on Monday from 4 - 7 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford and again on Tuesday July 14th at 10:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial offered at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
