Delpha Marie (Hughes) Houlihan of Needham, formerly of Newton died o Monday April 18th, 2005 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was 71 years old. Mrs. Houlihan was born in Toledo, Ohio. She was a U.S. Air Force, Korean War veteran. Mrs. Houlihan lived in Newton before moving to Needham 20 years ago. The beloved wife for over 50 years of the late Thomas J. Houlihan, she leaves her children Thomas and his wife Bonnie Houlihan of Green Bay WI, Patricia Houlihan and her husband Richard Skinner of Jacksonville FL, Karen Silvia and her husband Rodney of Martha’s Vineyard, Diana Houlihan of Sanbornville NH and Kevin and his wife Diane Houlihan of Franklin. Also survived by several sisters and brothers in the Ohio area. Cherished “Nana” of 6 grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Friday April 22 at 9:00 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Bartholomew Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Needham.
