BRIDGEWATER - Dawn Lisa Marie (Spacone) Whiting, 34, of Bridgewater died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Darrell G. Whiting.
Born in Quincy, a daughter of Kenneth R. and Patricia M. (Rhilinger) Spacone of Bridgewater, she was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Class of 1988.
Mrs. Whiting had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 30 years.
She was the former owner of Charlie's Flowers in Bridgewater for three years.
Mrs. Whiting was a former newspaper carrier for The Enterprise in Brockton for many years.
She was a member of the Lincoln Athletic Association in Bridgewater and enjoyed doing crafts and ceramics, gardening and motorcycles.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Jessica P. Whiting, Joshua M. Pagels and Cruz A. Whiting, all of Bridgewater; her brother, Kenneth R. Spacone Jr. and his fiance Jennifer Lozzi of Bridgewater; her sister, Rita A. Spacone of Bridgewater; her grandparents, Gloria Spacone of Quincy and Edward Rhilinger of Bridgewater; her in-laws, Goober and Tootie Whiting of Bridgewater; a brother-in-law, Chad Whiting of Bridgewater and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the granddaughter of the late Hugo Spacone and Rita Rhilinger.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Halifax
Congregational Church, Halifax. Burial will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Monday 3-8 p.m. in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98
