Angelina Ranzino, age 93, of Medford, passed away April 16th following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Ranzino. Born and raised in Boston she was the daughter of the late Anna (Arimino) and Antonio Vitale.
Angelina was a Medford resident for over fifty years. A devoted mother and grandmother she loved to be with her family. She was also active over the years with Medford´s Elliot Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Aileen Kordas of Holbrook and her son, Anthony Ranzino of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Ann McDermott of Taunton, Diana McGraw of Brockton, Julie Howard and Anthony Ranzino Jr. both of Medford. She is also survived by her loving great grandchildren; Nicole, Jacqueline, Samantha, Kyle, Justin and Janelle. She is further survived by her brother Anthony “Tom” Vitale of the North End, and is preceded in death by her sisters, Lucy Manfra, Lena Venezia and brothers Joseph and Michael Vitale.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Wednesday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
