Obituary

Julia A. (Simonovitch) Belch, 92, formerly of 296 Main Street, Spencer died Friday April 15, at 98 Lake Avenue, Leicester in her niece's home with whom she lived.
Her husband John J. Belch died in 1996, she leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She is pre-deceased by two brothers Peter and Victor Simonovitch and two sisters Nellie Andrews and Mary Soboleski.
Mrs. Belch was born in Worcester, daughter of Anthony and Scholaska (Bullock) Simonovitch. She was a shoeworker at Klevin Shoe in North Brookfield for many years before retiring in 1970. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, crocheting, strawberry and blueberry picking. She especially enjoyed family activities most of all dining out with her beloved family.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 19 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Monday, April 18 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either the V.N.A. of Central MA, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA., 01608 or to the John Soboleski Scholarship Fund c/o David Prouty High School Permanent Scholarship Fund, 302 Main St., Spencer, MA., 01562.
