Anthony R. Carpino of Westwood formerly of Dedham, died April 13, 2005 at his Westwood home. He was 86. Mr. Carpino was born in Dedham and was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Staula) Carpino. He was a long time Westwood resident. Mr. Carpino was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran serving in the European and Pacific Theaters. He worked as a clerk for Bird & Sons of Walpole.
He is survived by his brother Wallace Carnivale of Westwood, and his sister Della La Verghetta of Medfield. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Saturday at 11 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 1-4 pm. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
