Claudia L. Winn, 82, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Craig Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Winn was born September 29, 1922, in Currituck North Carolina, to the late John H. and Frances Caroline Wright Lewis. She lived in the community since 1944 from Edenton, North Carolina. Mrs. Winn was a homemaker and a former seamstress with H.R. Kaminsky & Son’s. She was a member of Arbor Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. Mrs. Winn was a great cook, an avid fisherman and she was a great supporter of the P.T.A. and her children’s activities.
Mrs. Winn is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Johnie Winn of Fitzgerald; son and daughter-in-law: Johnie R. and Sue Winn of Fitzgerald; daughter: Betsy C. Winn of Fort Valley, GA; two grandchildren: Johnie A. Winn of Warner Robins and Jennifer W. Starcher of Pace, FL; four grandchildren and one sister: Violet Odom of Sumter, SC. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
