Rita L. Girouard, 75, of Derry, NH, died Monday, April 11, 2005 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry following a brief illness. Ms. Girouard was born in Massachusetts on March 3, 1930. She was a resident of Derry for the past year, formerly living in Danville, NH. Ms. Girouard enjoyed making fudge, going out to eat and attending Lowell Spinners Baseball games. She also was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She attended Holy Angels Church in Plaistow.
She is survived by many extended family members and close friends. She was predeceased by her longtime companion Jeanne Ninteau in 2003.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 14th at 1:30pm in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Hampstead Rd., E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
