Margaret M. (Brown) Mowrey
May 12, 1918- July 2, 2015
Margaret M. (Brown) Mowrey, 97, of Anderson, went to meet her Lord and Savior and join her beloved "Bub" on July 2, 2015.
Margaret was born to Houston and Hazel (Richman) Brown on May 12, 1918. She was married to John Luther "Bub" Mowrey for nearly 65 years until his death in 2001.
Margaret was a wonderful seamstress and made many beautiful dresses for all of her granddaughters. She also loved to knit and crochet.
She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Her Christian example was evident in many young people throughout the years. She was a beautician by trade and formed many wonderful friendships through her work.
Margaret was a member of Tabor Baptist Church where she was "Grandma" to everyone.
Margaret is survived by one daughter, Jayne Ann (Jim) Wilson and one son, David (Kim) Mowrey She is survived by grandchildren, Duane, Steve, Tim and Mike Mowrey, Andy Jones, Randy (Becky), Nancy and Tom (Kim) Wilson, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to caregivers, Ashley, Jessica, Kati, Kasey, Rhonda and Kelli.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, July 6, 2015 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Jim Sandberg officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie
Visitation will be from 2-6 P.M. on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Tabor Independent Baptist Church; 10500 South County Road 300 West; Muncie, IN 47302.
