Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123)Brockton Friday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, W. Bridgewater at 11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. Obituary
Mrs. Dufresne died Tuesday at the Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brockton, the foster daughter of late Frank and Mary Valler. She had been a lifelong resident and graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1941, following graduation she was a floor lady in local shoe factories and later she was a clerk in the local Welfare office for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mrs. Dufresne had been a volunteer at the former Cardinal Cushing General Hospital,a communicant of St. St.Margaret’s Church and St. Ann’s Church, W. Bridgewater and she enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her husband, George A. Dufresne of Brockton, a son Albert G. Dufresne and his wife Janet of Bridgewater, a granddaughter Emily C. Dufresne of Bridgewater, a brother James Valler of Abington and several nieces and nephews.
