Tina M. ( Maltese) Surabian, of Lexington, passed away peacefully at her home on June 30, surrounded by her loving family. She was 78 years of age. The wife of the late George K, Surabian and William R. Monson
Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Acardi) and Bernardo Maltese. A resident of Lexington for nineteen years formerly of Winchester. She worked along side her late husband George, as a orthotic fitter in their family owned business, Cradock Apothecary of Medford and Winchester. In her retirement she enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and being with her family.
She is survived by her son William R. Monson and his wife Marion of Woburn and her loving grandson Will Monson of, Naples, Maine, preceding her in death in addition to her late husbands and parents are four sisters, Ann Sciascia, Josephine Montemagno, Mary Stirrat and Angie Nicoli. Also one brother Sal Maltese. She is further survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Tuesday, July 7, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn at 10. Visiting Hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
