Peggy Davis Prescott, 63, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 3 PM, Friday, July 3, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 at The Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Prescott was born April 22, 1952, in Abbeville, Georgia, to the late Lesser Samuel & Frances Juanita Keene Davis. A 1971 graduate of Wilcox County High School, Peggy was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She also loved nature and watching birds, gardening, fishing, and cross-stitching. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Prescott Luke and her grandchildren, Gabe Luke and Gracey Luke, all of Valdosta; brother, William & Julia Davis of Abbeville; and two sisters, Martha Blackwell of Abbeville and her twin sister, Patsy & Ronnie Giddens of Fitzgerald. A special friend, J.L. Chauncey of Douglas as well as several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Prescott.
