James Carl Beanblossom, 61, of Irwinville, Georgia, died Monday, April 11, 2005 at Tift Regional Medical Center, Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Doug Gibson, Rev. Stan Bowen and Rev. Tim Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwinville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Beanblossom was born November 29, 1943, in Irwin County, Georgia to the late Clarence Earl and Ethel Mae Paulk Beanblossom. He was a 1962 graduate of Irwin County High School. Mr. Beanblossom was a farmer and avid fisherman. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Irwinville Baptist Church and a veteran of the Georgia National Guard.
Mr. Beanblossom is survived by his wife: Janis S. Beanblossom of Irwinville; two daughters and sons-in-law: Pam and Michael Goodman, Irwinville, Georgia and Paula and Reuben Reaves, Nashville, Georgia; five grandchildren: Monica Goodman, Miranda Goodman, Montana Goodman, James Paul Reaves and Marlaina Reaves; a brother: Earl Beanblossom, Sylvester, Georgia and a sister: Ann Paulk, Bonaire, Georgia. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth B. Golden.
