Burns, James Benton Jr., 65, passes away June 30, 2015 at his residence with family by his side.
He was born to James Sr., and June (McKinley) Burns.
James served proud as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam, was retired from TA Industries, and a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is wife: Cynthia M. (Coy) Burns of 9 yrs., His Children: Melissa Kamber (Tate),
Robby Burns (Melisa), Sean Burns, and Amanda Bassett (David); Six Grandchildren; Two Brothers: Gary (Cheryl), and Robert; Five Sisters: Debbie Durrett (Carlos), Patsy Nall (Mike), Teresa Selvage, Sandy McIntosh, and Lisa Blankenship. Last, but not least, his five faithful companions: Toby, Rusty, Gizmo, Maggie, and Tyson.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 12:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., burial will be in Penn Run Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 11:00 – 8:00Pm.
