GORHAM- Marlene Dolores Ustic MacConnell, born September 13, 1933, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family June 23, 2015. She grew up in South Portland and lived in Gorham for 45 years. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, Bingo, camping, dancing, boating and snowmobiling. She was a devoted wife and mother. For 22 years she enjoyed camping at Nason's Beach in Sebago with her husband and 4 children.
She is preceded by her parents; Paul Ustic and Lillian Judkins as well as a brother, Tyrone Ustic. She is survived by her husband Clifford MacConnell of 65 years, son Robert MacConnell and wife Lois of Washington State, son Paul MacConnell of Windham, Maine, son Bryan MacConnell and fiancée Teri Ronco of Standish, Maine and Daughter Diana Panetti and boyfriend Leon Moody of Limington, Maine. Brother Paul Ustic of Kansas City MO., Sisters Sonya Ustic of Portland and Livia Lee of South Portland.She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; Peter Panetti, from Nashua, NH, Christopher and wife Heather Panetti of San Diego, CA, Bobby and Jeremy MacConnell of Washington State and Nicholas MacConnell of Scarborough, ME, great grandson Mason in Washington State.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on July 18, 2015 and will take place at the West Gorham Cemetery on Route 112 (Dow Road) Gorham. Rev. Phil Shearman will officiate.
