Mary E. Byrne of Wilmington, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2005 at Wilmington Health Care Center in Wilmington. She was 83 years of age.
Born in Cambridge, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late James Byrne and Catherine (Lewis) Byrne. Mary was an adoring daughter, a loving sister, a dear aunt and a true friend. She will be missed by all.
Mary was the cherished sister of the late Frederick Byrne and his wife Winifred, Agnes Wilson and her husband Leo, Frances Malone and her husband Edward, Thomas Byrne and his wife Ann, Walter Byrne and his wife Helen and her sister, Dorothy Byrne. Mary has many nieces and nephews among whom are Rev. Edward T. Malone and the late Robert Byrne, with whom she lived.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty- Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Mary’s life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
