New Bedford – Raymond A. Carvalho, 57, of New Bedford died Friday, April 8, 2005 at home after a long illness.
He was born in Fall River, son of Norma S. (Rounds) Froias of Fall River and the late George M. Carvalho, Sr., and lived in Westport for many years prior to moving to New Bedford 27 years ago. Mr. Carvalho was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Navy.
Including his mother, he is survived by a son: Sean Carvalho of Fall River; a daughter: Holly Carvalho of Florida; 2 brothers: George M. Carvalho, Jr. of S. Dartmouth and Norman R. Carvalho of New Bedford; a sister: Sheila G. Pemental of Bristol, RI; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
