Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm. Donations in Mary Ann’s name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terrace, Stoughton, MA 02072.
Obituary Information
Mary Ann died Monday morning at Heights Crossing, Brockton after a lengthy illness. Born in Amherst, MA, daughter of the late Dr. Edward M. and Mary J. (Mulhearn) Ryan, she had been a resident of Brockton since 1953. She was raised and educated in Amherst, was a graduate of Amherst High School and attended University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She left college to enlist in the US Navy during WWII. She retired in 1990 from the City of Brockton as administrative assistant to then City Clerk J.J. Lyons. She was a long time member of the Brockton Commercial Club, Catholic Charities, 20th Century Catholic Club and Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with her friends and time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 2 sons, William J. Good, III of South Boston and Kevin E. Good of Brockton, 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Helen Jeska, Nancy Cramer, and Edward M. Ryan, Jr.
