Obituary

Ralph B. Frongillo, Sr., died Tuesday at his Medford home. He was 81.


Raised in Cambridge, he was a proud graduate of Cambridge High and Latin. A combat airman in the Navy during World War II, Ralph was awarded the Combat Aircrew Insignia and Air Medal for his service in the Pacific.
Ralph graduated University of Mass. Business School as well as Real Estate School.


Ralph was a talented master craftsman who bult his own home in Woburn. He was able to work with precision in all trades. His talents as a builder were easily translated into a long career as a Home Inspector and Real Estate Broker, a job he shared with his late wife. Ralph was a late member of Danvers Fish and Game Club, Past President of Cambridge Rod and Gun. He was an avid sportsman and helped many people in many ways.


He was the beloved husaband of the late Lillian (Piazzola). He was a devoted father of Ralph B. Frongillo, Jr. of Woburn and the late John, who died in the service of his nation in Vietnam. He was the brother of Theresa Wagner of Cal. and Michael Frongillo of Cambridge. He was a dear brother-in-law to Mike Piazzolla of Arlington and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.


His Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Monday at 8 am Followed by a funeral mass celbrated in Saint Raphael Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfuly invited to attend and may visit Sunday 2 - 6. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
