Mary M.(Medeiros)Costa. Age 93. Wife of the late Antone Costa. Residence Somerset, MA. Died Wednesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, MA. Daughter of the late Ernest Medeiros and the late Mary (Rosa Rapoza) Medeiros. She was a Somerset resident for over 40 years. Before retiring, she was a Spinner in the local needle industry, primarily at Sagamore Mill. She was a member of St. John of God Church.
She is survived by One Brother: John Medeiros of Tiverton, RI. One Sister: Ernestine Forneiro of Somerset, MA and Several nieces and nephews and Several Great nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Antone Medeiros and Georgina Teves.
Her Private funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA on Saturday at 8:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset, Ma. at 9:00 AM. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset, MA. Calling hours for family and friends Friday 5-8 PM.
