E. Dee Stasen, of Salem NH passed away Wednesday April 6 at the age of 81. Dee was born, raised and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, where she lived until her marriage to the late Peter J. Stasen after which she relocated to New York. Dee settled in Salem NH with her parents Christos and Georgia Dantos in the early 1980’s.
Dee was quite accomplished as an executive secretary at Playtex in the Empire State Building in New York and at the Merrimack Paper Company in Lawrence.
Dee, who worshipped at the Saint Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Andover was a member of the Philoptohos Society, the Daughters of Penelope and a recipient of the Diocesan Award.
She leaves behind her Nephews Chris Dantos of Granby, CT , Tim Kasida of Boston MA, Andrew Dantos of Bowie, MD, her niece Maria Rachman of Macungie PA, and her Sister-in-law Erma Dantos of Annapolis MD. She also leaves her grand nieces and Nephews Evan, Stephanie, AJ, Michael and Lena.
Funeral services will be held at St. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Andover, MA on Saturday, April 9, at 10 AM burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery Salem NH.
