TEWKSBURY: Christopher B. “Red” Fowler, age 44, a former resident of Tewksbury, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the Lowell General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Chelsea on September 27, 1960, he was the son of Edward A. and Josephine M. (Tully) Fowler who survive him of New London, NH.
Mr. Fowler was raised in Tewksbury.
He attended Tewksbury schools and was graduated from the Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1979.
Mr. Fowler resided in Tewksbury for over 30 years until moving to Lowell in 2003. While living in Tewksbury, he attended St. Williams Church.
He was employed for 2 years as a diesel mechanic and welder by the Lowell Fleet Maintenance Company. Mr. Fowler previously worked for the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham.
He enjoyed playing cards, Harley Davidson motorcycles, collecting tools and attending social gatherings.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children; Bryan C. Fowler and Jennifer L. Fowler both of Salem, NH; his paternal grandmother; Catherine (Duggan) Fowler of Saugus; 1 brother; Mark E. Fowler of West Newbury; 2 nieces; McKenzie and McKayla Fowler both of West Newbury; his former wife; Christine (Parisi) (Fowler) Mazza of Salem, NH.
Mr. Fowler was the paternal grandson of the late Edward C. Fowler and maternal grandson of the late John P. and Josephine (Skrajda) Tully.
Calling hours Friday, April 8th from 4-8 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, April 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Massachusetts General Hospital, Support for the Infectious Disease Unit, c/o Development Office, 100 Charles River Plaza, Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114 are requested.
