David C. Leone, age 51, of Acton passed away March 29th following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Karen L. Shelley - Leone. Born in Boston he was the son of Angelo and Theresa (DeNunzio) Leone of Medford.
David was a resident of Acton for the past six years. He worked for thirty years in the high tech industry, most recently as a lease executive of small office ATM´s. David was an avid reader and loved fine wines and fine dining and also enjoyed cooking. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Relay for Life, c/o Bromfield School, Harvard, MA 01451 or to the Friends of Francis, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, MA 02155.
In addition to his wife and parents, David is survived by his loving daughters, Gina Leone of Harvard and Mia Leone of Worcester. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret McGillivray of Medford and Mary Ellen Santangelo of Woburn. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday, at 10:30 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
