Leslie Poland, 62, of Harrisville passed away Monday. He was husband and best friend of Leah Dauphinee. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Sandra Poland.
He was a loving father to his daughter Crystal Couto and her husband James, son David Poland, step daughters Anna and Amanda Dauphinee, and her husband Zach. He was the adoring grandfather to Emma and Aiden Couto. He was brother to Barry, Kerry (Sarah), Randy (Amy), and Linda Ferria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family.
Les was an avid reader, musician, fisherman, and lover of the outdoors. His genuine compassion was rare, and kindness ran through his core. He will be dearly missed.
Join us to celebrate the music of his life on Friday June 26, with visitation 5-8pm, and service at 7:45pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Embrace-a-Stream to help protect local rivers and fish.
