James H. Banks of New Bedford died Monday March 28, 2005 at New England Medical Center in Boston. He was the husband of Helen (Cabeca) Banks of New Bedford. He was the father of James A. Banks of New Bedford, David Banks and his wife Kathy of Cataumet, Ma., Joan Banks and her companion John Mulbeyer of Lakeville, Maine, Steven Banks of New Bedford, Grandfather of Aleksandr Banks of Cataunet, Ma. He was the brother of Beatrice Burdine of Somerset Ky. and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Banks was the son of the late Ellen (Mahoney) and James H. Banks. He was born in Seymour, Indiana and lived in this area since 1954. He was a Stationary Fireman for The U.S. Navy. Mr Banks also served during the Korean Conflict.
The Family will receive Relatives and Friends on Thursday March 31, 2005 from 4-6 P.M.. In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
