Ronald P. Fontaine, 67, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, March 28, 2005 in his home. Mr. Fontaine was born in Danvers, MA on January 8, 1938, a son of the late Raymond and Cecile (Lemieux) Fontaine. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past 32 years, formerly living in Beverly, MA. He was a graduate of St. John's Prep School in Danvers, MA, Class of 1957, and a graduate of Boston College, Class of 1961 with a BS in finance. He served 20 years with the US Coast Guard Reserves. Mr. Fontaine was an avid fly fisherman and enjoyed tying his own flies. He was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jeannine S. (Bossie) Fontaine of Londonderry, one son, Jonathan R. Fontaine of Londonderry, one brother, Robert Fontaine of Massachusetts, one sister, Anne Hovey of Danvers, MA, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer J. Fontaine in 1999, and his brother Norman Fontaine Sr. in 2004.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2nd at 10:00am in the St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry. Friends may call on Friday from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
