Dorothy (Hoffman) Colwell age 90 of Salem, NH, died Monday at the Haven Health Care in Derry, NH.
She was born in Medford, MA, grew up and was educated in Everett, MA. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 35 years, formerly of Malden, MA.
Mrs. Colwell was a retired homemaker. She was also a member of the “TOPS” Take off Pounds Sensibly.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Colwell. She was also predeceased by a son William C. Colwell
She is survived by 1 Son: James Colwell of Salem, NH
1 Brother: Alfred Hoffman of Malden, MA
1 Sister: June Crones of Wakefield, MA
4 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter
A Calling hour will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005 from 1-2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH
