Obituary

ARLINGTON: Mary Rose (Gendall) DeLaurier, age 92, a lifelong resident of Arlington, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.
She was the wife of the late Frank DeLaurier.
Born in Cambridge on January 8, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Stephanie (Kiebert) Gendall.
She attended Arlington schools and was graduated from Arlington High School. During her high school years, she played for the Arlington High School Women’s Softball team.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. DeLaurier was employed for 40 years by the Raytheon Corporation of Waltham. She enjoyed crocheting, spending summers with her late husband in Wareham, traveling to Europe and attending family outings and parties.
She is survived by 1 sister; Frances Magarian of Punta Gorda, FL; many nieces and nephews especially; Cynthia A. Basteri and her husband Lawrence of Lowell, John F Gendall, Jr. of Tewksbury, Roberta Ryan of Arlington and Nicole Leone of Natick.
Mrs. DeLaurier was the sister of the late Annie Gendall, Joseph, Anthony, William, Stephen and John Gendall.
Calling hours Wednesday, March 30th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Funeral Thursday, March 31st at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 31st at 11 a.m. at Shrine of St. Rita, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell. Interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
