Clara French Hathaway, 92, died Saturday at Mystic Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mrs. Hathaway was born September 6, 1912 in Bridgeport the daughter of Mary A. and Charles H. French. She was married in Clinton, CT to Wilson H. Hathaway who died in 1960.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Douton of Mystic, her son, Robert W. Hathaway, her brother Arthur French of Florida, as well by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Charles W. Hathaway.
Mrs. Hathaway worked for many years at Fortune Plastics in Clinton. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #66 in Clinton.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Thursday from 10am until 12noon, followed by a Graveside Funeral Service at 1pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Green Hill Rd, Killingworth.
