New Bedford-Pedro Cabral Dias died Friday March 25, 2005 at St Luke’s Hospital. He was the Husband of Maria (Cardosa) Dias of New Bedford. He was the Father of Paula C. Gaudreau of New Bedford. Antonio P. Dias and Jose P. Dias both of New Bedford. He was the Grandfather of Hannah P. Dias, Andrew J. Gaudreau, and Kiara Piques. He was the Brother of Antonio Dias, and Maria Dos Anjos Conceicao Dias both of Portugal .
Mr. Dias was formerly employed at Alden Shoe Company as a Factory Shoe Maker until his retirement.
Mr. Dias was born in Nespreira, Portugal. He has lived in this area the past 32 Years. He was the son of the late Viginia (Conceicao) Dias and Antonio Dias.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday March 30, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 P.M., on Tuesday March 29, 2005 at Perry Funeral Home.
