Obituary

JUNE R. (HAYDEN) GELO, age 84, a Weymouth resident for the past 58 years,died on Saturday, March 26th at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Mrs. Gelo was born, raised and educated in Hingham, graduating from Hingham High School. She was a homemaker, who was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Quincy and a dedicated volunteer for The Widows' Friend.

She leaves her husband, Evan H. Gelo of Weymouth, her son, Mark A. Gelo of Concord, MA, and three daughters; Dawn G. Brandsema of Willow Street, PA, Noel G. Anderson of Limerick, PA and Laurel G. Rodman of Tiverton, RI. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Wendell Hayden, the late Uta (Hayden) Gelo and the Paul Hayden.

A Graveside Service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 30th at 10 AM at the North Weymouth Cemetery, North St., Weymouth, followed by a Memorial Service at the First Presbyterian Church, 270 Franklin St., Quincy at 11 :30 AM.

Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
