Obituary

Goffstown-----Armand J. Morin ,95 of Goffstown, passed away on June 11,2015, after a period of declining health. He was born in Laconia on March 4, 1920, one of eight sons to Alphonse and Leda (Camire) Morin. He attended Sacred Heart Parochial School and graduated from Laconia High School in 1939. He married the love of his life, Mary H. Perry on May 2, 1942, and was a devoted husband for 70 years until her death on January 13, 2013
Armand was inducted into military service on January 11, 1943, served in the South Pacific and New Guinea, and ended in Yokohama, Japan. He was discharged on January 11, 1946 He was an Industrial Engineer for 36 years with Scott & Williams and he was also president of the Tri State Industrial Engineer Association.
Armand moved to Dexter, Maine in 1975, and retired in 1982 to Wells, Maine where he was an active member of St Mary's church community .He enjoyed golfing with Mary and cross country skiing. He was a member of the knights of Columbus council since 1946.
Armand was a loving father and is survived by his three children. Son Leo and wife Wanda of Sanford, NC, daughter Jane and her husband Michael Lovett of Goffstown, and daughter Kathy and her husband John Ball of Nashua.. He was a kind and patient Grampy of eight, and Great Grampy of six. He also leaves two brothers, Roger and Rene and his wife Aurelia both of Gilford, and sister in law Evelyn of Laconia, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of C4 at the Hillsborough County nursing Home for their loving care of our Dad as well as the additional care given by Hospice.

Calling hours are from 9-10am on Thursday, June 18th using the Carriage House Entrance at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia. Followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Andre Bessette Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia NH.
