Byron M. Messer, 73, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday June 14, 2015 at Parkland Medical Center, in Derry, NH after a period of declining health. He was born December 3, 1941 in Manners- Sutton Parish, New Brunswick, Canada and was a son of the late Ezra and Vera (Noble) Messer. He was raised and educated in New Brunswick and later relocated to NH in 1963. He has been a Londonderry resident for many years.
Mr. Messer was a longtime truck driver and drove for over 30 years with Complete Carriers/Allied Carriers, as a car carrier. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing and knew where to find the best food (and waitresses) along the East Coast.
Mr. Messer is survived by his brother, Cyril Messer of Bellingham, MA, his god-son, Mark Douglas of Nashua, three Sisters-in-Law and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
After cremation, calling hours will be held Thursday June 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. His cremated remains will be interred near his childhood home in New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice
