Mildred M. Simeone, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, on March 21, following a extended illness. The wife of Vincent S. Simeone, she was eighty-four years old.
Born in Chelsea she was the daughter of the late Jennie (Myers) and James Arsenault. Mildred was raised in Reading, the sixth of nine children.
Before her marriage she worked for Hank´s bakery in Stoneham. In 1950 Mildred and Vincent were married and settled in Woburn. She was devoted to raising her familiy and in recent years enjoyed her grandchildren. As a active member of the Woburn Senior Center, she enjoyed needlepoint, cross word puzzles and playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Winnifred Paulson and Stella O´Ligny, two brothers Leo and George Arsenault.
Surviving in addition to her husband Vincent are one daughter Marie Zimmerman and her husband Burt of Malden, three sons, Raymond and his wife Kathy of Connecticut, Vincent and his wife Sharon of Woburn and David and his wife Inta of Lynnfield. Adored grandmother of Heather, Jimmy, Amy, Andrew, Robin and Jason. Three sisters, May Smart, Marie Perry, and Sr. Eugenia Marie Arsenault, one brother Edward Arsenault. Also many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Tuesday, March 29, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 850 Main St. Woburn at 10. Relatives and friends are respectfuilly invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn
