WEBSTER – Carole A. (Rousseau) Radcliffe, 58, of 28 Ash Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 23, in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 40 years, Bill H. Radcliffe; a daughter, Michelle A. Bardier of Sutton; 2 sons, William H. Radcliffe III and Matthew P. Radcliffe, both of Webster; a sister, Shirley Thiebault of Danielson, CT; 8 grandchildren; 1 niece and 3 nephews. She also leaves her beloved dogs Coco and Rusty.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of the late Oscar G. and Rita C. (Beauchesne) Rousseau. She was raised in North Grosvenordale, CT, returning here at the time of her marriage. She graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in 1964.
Mrs. Radcliffe was a cook and dietary aide at Oakwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She also was the food service manager for excursions on the Providence & Worcester Railroad. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in North Grosvenordale, and the CEO and treasurer of the Providence & Worcester Railfan Club, Inc.
The funeral will be held MONDAY, March 28, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main Street, N. Grosvenordale,CT Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are from 3:00 to 6:00 PM SATURDAY, March 26, in the funeral home.
