New Bedford-Jesuina Pacheco died Wednesday March 23, 2005, at Mariner Healthcare of Southeastern Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Jose Pacheco Carouco and Maria Teresa (Calouro) Carouco. Survivors included brothers Antonio Pacheco of San Jose, CA. and Jose P. Carouco of Sao Miguel, Azores. Survivors also included several Nieces and Nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Conceicao Pimentel, Maria P. Mauricio and Manuel Pacheco.
Mrs. Pacheco was formerly employed at Paul Modes as a floor lady until her retirement.
Mrs. Pacheco was born in Ponta Garca, Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Jose P. and Maria Teresa (Calouro) Carouco. She moved to New Bedford and has lived in this area since 1960.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday March 28, 2005 at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to Funeral Mass, at 8 A.M., at Perry Funeral Home.
