Fall River – Alice A. (Beardsworth) Sisson, of Tiverton, RI died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Kimwell Healthcare Center after a long illness. She was the widow of Howard W. Sisson.
Mrs. Sisson was born in Tiverton, RI, daughter of the late Thomas and Jane (Simpson) Beardsworth, and resided in Tiverton for most of her life. Prior to her retirement in 1983 she was a secretary for the Rhode Island Department of Public Welfare in Newport, RI. She attended Holy Trinity Church, Tiverton, RI.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Gail A. Paquette of E. Freetown and Carol J. Lortie of Westport; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John Beardsworth, Stephen Beardsworth, Ralph Beardsworth, William Beardsworth, James Beardsworth, Thomas Beardsworth, Esther Osbaldeston and Jane Ferguson.
