Obituary

Worcester--After a 4-month illness, my beautiful and kind-hearted wife, Elizabeth Gaba, of 5 Arlington St, passed on and went to Heaven to rest with God and Jesus on Monday, March 21, 2005. Elizabeth was the love of my life for 28 years. There are no words great enough to say how much I loved her and will miss her. She never said a bad word to me or a bad word about anyone. She accepted people as they were, and she had the biggest heart of gold these eyes have ever seen. She didn’t have one mean bone in her body. She was a vibrant and enthusiastic person, and everyone was attracted to her smiling face. You could look at her just once and know she was a kind person. She just wanted to be nice to everyone and have fun at family gatherings.

Elizabeth was born in Ayer, daughter of Abie and Mary (Lane) Childers. She worked at AT&T for 29 years and at Burger King for 2 years. She leaves her husband, Alex; a brother-in-law and his sweetheart, Bob Torcoletti and Simone Berube. She also leaves her brother- and sister-in-law, Peter and Minnie Gaba; 3 nieces, Robin Parent and her husband Dave, Rhonda Tarcoletti, and Bobbie Corcoran and her husband Douglas; 2 great-nieces; and 2 great-nephews. She also loved her grown-up niece and nephew, Joanne and Chris Gaba.
